Deuteronomy 1:6-7 NLT Have you ever felt like you have been in your situation far too long?

Have you ever felt like you have been in your situation far too long? Maybe it’s that job. The same routine. Deuteronomy 1:6 is a great verse for you.

“When we were at Mount Sinai, the Lord our God said to us, ‘You have stayed at this mountain long enough. It is time to break camp and move on…” (Deuteronomy 1:6-7 NLT)

Anytime I feel like I have been in a bad situation or an unproductive environment for far too long, I remind myself of what the Lord said in Deuteronomy 1:6, “You have stayed at this mountain (your circumstance) long enough. It is time [for you] to break camp and move on.” If you’re anything like me, you need permission to move on from that stagnant place and who better than God to tell you that you’ve been around your mountain long enough.
